ECHOES OF HISTORY

Mill Race Park was created in 1977 from the ruins of the old Turnbull Woollen Mill. Established in 1897, it was one of the many stone mills that were erected over the mill race which ran along the Grand River and which provided Galt with much of its early prosperity.
